We're easing back into homeschooling after loads of holiday fun. If you recall, we had a family of 6 staying with us for a month. We found it very difficult to do our method of homeschooling, so much of it was postponed until they left. Then came the holidays, so it has been a month since we've had any sort of structured homeschooling. (However, most of you homeschoolers know it's impossible to keep children from learning!)
Just a quick update- the bun in the oven (Molly Jo) is now 26 weeks and some days along. I cannot believe that, come spring, we will have five beautiful children! Five! What great blessings they are. I have really enjoyed listening to their wild, deep-hearted giggles as they play with one another.
Evangeline is growing so quickly- her little feet taking more steady steps. She loves to help- especially when it comes to putting things away. She's the go-to-girl when you want something thrown in the trash! And, she's a big eater- she had four loaded plates on Thanksgiving!
Anyway, here's a few mobile shots from today:
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. We have so much to be thankful for, whether we realize it or not! (Unfortunately, most Americans take so much for granted, especially around the winter holidays!) My prayer is that more people will leave behind the commercial holiday and give of their time, effort, and finances to people who truly need it. Consider contributing to adoption funds, Christian teen pregnancy centers, and missionaries in other countries. Look around you and see the many needs... and reach out to fill them, my friends!
Btw, if you haven't already, check out my other blog, A Fighting Faith. I posted the words to one of my new songs there.

Beautiful Baby Blessings
Thank You Lord for blond wisps of hair.
Thank You for silky soft cheeks.
Thank You for rolling giggles.
Thank You for weaving her life into ours.

My handsome son
Isn't my eldest son super handsome?
I think so. :) He's growing so fast! How can it be that this little gentleman is going to be seven soon? Who said he could grow up?

It's a.....
Life has been so crazy busy (remember, two families of 6 in one household!), but is soon to calm down. However, finding time to blog has not been easy. I'm just poppin' in to share some photos!
First, we found out we are three weeks further along than we believed (how thrilling)... and we're having a girl!
We had the ultrasound tech put the "gender photo" in an envelope (and not reveal it to us). Then we headed over to my friend's home (who also happens to be my midwife), and her daughter opened the envelope and told us the news!
We shared the news with my parents and Granny by giving them Oreos with pink icing. Mom was convinced it was a boy. Boy, was she wrong! ;)
In other news, my husband and I celebrated nine years of marriage and 10 years of togetherness! How wonderful and sweet! I am so in love with my husband, and it only gets sweeter each year!
